The responsibility of the Supervisor is to oversee all employees and operations pertaining to the assigned client. The Supervisor must ensure that security functions for all clients are performed in a consistent manner with the agreed procedures and protocol and that all positions and posts are filled in a timely and complete manner. The Supervisor will also ensure that all functions are performed in accordance with the regulatory requirements of the Transportation Security Administration and the Port Authority of NY & NJ. The Supervisor will ensure that all security personnel are punctual, professional and execute all duties in accordance with their job descriptions for all activities including terminal, ramp, bag room, aircraft, and catering operations. The Supervisor must ensure that all airport personnel are in compliance with company uniform and grooming regulations, and notify superiors in any instance where performance is not up to standards. The supervisor is to maintain the utmost professionalism at all times when dealing with airline client, employees, and third party vendors assigned to this account.
- The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and have Customer Service skills.
- Prefer 1+ years of experience working in an airport and understanding of airport operations.
- Fluent in English
- 2+ years in security
- 1+ years in a supervisory capacity preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- High School Diploma minimum
- 8 Hour Pre-Assignment required, will be required to apply for NYS Security Guard License if not already registered.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States;
- Must be able to pass a 10 year verifiable background check, including criminal, employment, education, and personal references;
- Must possess valid State issued Driver’s License OR a valid State Issued I.D. card;
-Must be able to pass a Security Background Check and Training as administered by CBP; the Port Authority of NY & NJ;
