Event Security Sales Associate
As Event Security Sales Associate for outstanding customer service and business growth you will be a vital part of our marketing and sales process. We will rely on your exceptional ability to apply your strategic thinking, business writing, interpersonal skills and problem solving ability to assist multiple Sales Executives in pursuit of business success. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Engage with senior-level executives through both telephone and email efforts to generate interest and secure meetings.
  • Identify and qualify new prospects through targeted market research and cold calling
  • Work with marketing to follow-up on leads generated from advertising, event and webinar campaigns, as well as website, customer, partner and employee referrals
  • Assist marketing by representing Global at trade shows and managing onsite meetings
  • Prepare background notes for prospect interactions
  • Initiate, participate in, shadow and sometimes lead customer calls
  • Manage sales contracting process
  • Manage and track sales
  • Manage and maintain existing and prospective client relationships
  • Report weekly activities, pipeline and accomplishments to the Director of Sales
  • Cooperate with matrixed team members to meet goals or complete tasks
Job Requirements
  • 1-2 years related experience and/or training
  • Successful history scheduling appointments with senior level managers
  • Exceptional ability to establish credibility with senior-level executives
  • Confident personality, able to make cold calls, and follow-up calls
  • Strong time-management skills and an ability to work well under pressure with a keen eye for details and efficiency
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a geographically dispersed team
  • Solid presentation skills both on the phone and in-person
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to take direction and also work to recommend improvements to existing processes
  • Ownership for attaining both individual and team performance goals
  • Initiative, enthusiasm, and desire to learn
  • Must be willing to travel
