JOB DESCRIPTION
Aviation Security Agents are able to work in conjunction with local airline, and governmental agencies to ensure the safety of our clients. This challenging position will expose candidates to a diverse environment that is both exciting and rewarding. Global Security is continuing to grow in the aviation security field and are looking for individuals to uphold our high standards and company values.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States;
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.;
  • Must be willing to obtain State Security Guard License if not already in possession of one;
  • Must be able to pass a 10 year verifiable background check, including criminal, employment, education, and personal references;
  • Must be able to pass a Security Threat Assessment as administered by the Transportation Security Administration;
  • Must be able to pass a Security Background Check as administered by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol;
    • Must be able to pass all initial training classes and exams;
    • Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs;
    • Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn security operations and procedures;
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written, oral, or diagrammatic form;
  • Ability to be an effective team member;
  • Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances;
  • Ability to write logs and reports on a regular basis;
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures;
  • Ability to maintain composure in dealing with authorities, clients, staff and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations;
 
 
WORKING CONDITIONS (Physical/Mental Demands):
